Welcome to the start of website pages for All Saints’ Buckland. Whether you are looking for specific information about our church and parish or are simply browsing, we hope you will find something of interest about our historic parish church, about our worship and activities, and about the parish of Buckland in the Diocese of Oxford in the Church of England.
It’s extraordinary to think that Christians have been gathering for worship and witness in this church building since 1273. Seven centuries ago when our church was built there were few books available and fewer who could read, yet today, the internet enables the life of our community to be accessible across the globe. Our website aims to give you a snap shot of the life of our congregation. On this site you can you can find out more about our worship, ministry and outreach, learn something of the history of our beautiful building, and you can catch up with news and future events.
I hope you enjoy doing that, but of course, the cyber-world provides no substitute for actual participation in the life of the Church, so I hope that those of you looking for a spiritual home will be led to explore All Saints Buckland further by visiting the church, joining us one Sunday at worship or by becoming involved in the life of our parish. This growing church is always open and we would love to get to know you.
The Revd Elizabeth Moxley
Rector of Aston Clinton with Buckland and Drayton Beauchamp
